Michael grew up in Shepparton, Victoria where he graduated from McGuire College in Year 12 as Dux of the school. He moved on to Charles Sturt University in Albury for University, where he studied under many world renowned podiatrists. Graduated with Honours in 2005, then moved to the Sunshine Coast for work. 

Michael worked for a sports podiatrist on the Sunshine Coast, where he learned the intricacies of sports biomechanics, ways to improve foot function, and the methods of reducing foot pain. This gave him many valuable skills but missing Victoria, he came back in 2008 with his partner. Michael says he is extremely happy with the move back to Victoria, and enjoys the Melbourne lifestyle. 

A member of the Australian Podiatric Association in Victoria, where he is active in personal development and ongoing education, both for his personal knowledge and the benefit of his clients. 

Michael's practice is varied including general foot, skin, and nail care, diabetes education (a particular passion, as the effects of diabetes on the feet are significant, but not often known), paediatric foot assessment, and sports podiatry. He takes pride that his practice encompasses people of all ages, from new born babies, to people over 100. No one is too old or too young for podiatry, and he is willing to help with all manner of problems, no matter how small they may seem to be.
